K.A.M.O aka Allan Banford is part of the experimental abstract movement that emerged at the beginning of the 21st century in London UK, audiovisual and music producer. Allan creates abstract paintings, installations as well as music and video productions.
His art follows the concept of the artist’s obligation to not maintain a single cohesive style developing a perpetual evolution.
By contesting the division between consciousness and reality, Banford absorbs the tradition of remembrance into a material practice. His paintings isolate, movements, characters, emotions and objects by doing so, new sequences are created which reveal an inseparable relationship between motion and space. With his conceptual approach, a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered abstract scenario emerges, involving the viewer in a physical texturized message.
