Walbert Pérez was born in Colombia in 1980. As an artist, he studied at the School of Fine Arts of Sincelejo, Sucre and at the School of Fine Arts Cartagena de Indias.
During his life he has had 14 individual exhibitions of which stands out the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center Bogotá D.C; Inter-American; Development Bank, Washington, D.C .; Cloister of Santo Domingo, aecid. Cartagena de Indias, among others. In addition, according to collective exhibitions, he has been in more than 25, the most importants: Borderless generation Contemporary Art of Latin America The Korea Foundation Cultural center. Seoul, Korea and 9 art fairs like ARTBO, ARTEBA and ARTEAMERICAS.
Walbert currently has 4 collections: Colección Gun Club Bogotá; Colección LUKAC Lima; Lobbie Edificio CUSEZAR Bogotá y; Colección Dybowski Alemania. In addition of the collections just mentioned, he has works in private collections in countries like United States, Argentina, Germany, Peru, France and Colombia.
